Our wine tasting event is held every year in the fall. Bert George, owner of Joseph George, is very generous in allowing us to hold the event at his store in San Jose.
The event is usually highlighted by a guest speaker who helps us spread DJ’s motto, “Go the Distance and Never Give Up.” Past speakers have been, Dr. Michael Link (DJ’s oncologist at LPCH for 19 years, Coach Dick Davey, past Santa Clara University Basketball Coach, Dave Righetti #19 San Francisco Giants Pitching Coach, Bill O’Brien, DJ’s Business Professor at SCU.
All money raised goes to support the programs we finance at LPCH at Stanford; CHEERS and AYA.
