19 For Life Scholarships Awarded at 2014 Cal-Hi Sports Banquet!

On May 19, 2014, 19 for Life presented two inspiring high school student athletes each with a $1,900 scholarship. Top 5 Named for Lexus Volunteer Scholarship Awards

The top 5 finalists were announced today for the Lexus of Stevens Creek Volunteer Scholarship Awards.

19 for Life, Cal-Hi Sports, and Lexus of Stevens Creek, will present the Lexus Volunteer Scholarship Awards to local high school athletes who exemplify the balance of a successful college bound high school curriculum while excelling in athletics and actively volunteering in the community. The awards will be presented at the Cal-Hi Sports Award Banquet on May 19th at EA Sports.

The 5 finalists are:

  • Natalie Lemire – Saratoga High School
  • Alex Manu – Aragon High School
  • Jackson Pellegrini – Leigh High School
  • Mariah Roasa – Mountain View Academy
  • Caitlin Stuewe – Sacred Heart Prep

Kayla Jones of Piedmont Hills High School Wins Prize for Most Votes in Lexus Scholarship Voting

17 year-old Kayla Jones won a new iPad mini on Friday, April 23rd, as part of the Lexus Volunteer Scholarship Awards Voting Contest! (Visit here for full details)

Kayla is a senior at Piedmont Hills High School and plays the forward position on the Pirates basketball team. She also enjoys volunteering and helping her community. In November, Kayla helped organize the Sheriff’s Heroes Run to benefit the pediatrics department at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Awesome work Kayla!
